DevOps Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the formulation and execution of the company's DevOps strategy.

• Work closely with development, product, operations, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure swift and assured software delivery to production.

• Design and implement scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure and systems utilizing HashiCorp tools such as Nomad, Consul, Vault, and Terraform.

• Incorporate engineering efforts into the company's DevOps pipeline.

• Oversee the management of the company's GitHub source code repository while enforcing best practices for code reviews and branching.

• Monitor the health and performance of production systems and resolve any issues that arise.

• Take part in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support and critical incident responses.

• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.

• Offer guidance and mentorship to DevOps Engineers I and II.

• Carry out other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps practices, tools, and technologies, including continuous integration, deployment, and delivery.

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, especially AWS.

• Proven experience in deploying and managing infrastructure using GitHub Actions, Nomad, Consul, Vault, and Terraform.

• Experience with managing source code repositories, particularly GitHub.

• Commitment to best practices in code review and branching.

• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems.

• Proficiency in shell and Python scripting.

• Background in monitoring and troubleshooting production systems.

• Experience with security and compliance within a DevOps environment.

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

• Experience with healthcare data is advantageous.

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with product developers, direct managers, and engineering peers.

• Proven record of successfully completing and deploying production code.

• Ability to articulate mPulse's business and client base.

• Active participation in technical discussions.

• Demonstrated success in multiple technical projects.

• Effective utilization of development environments and tools.

• Capability to stand and sit for extended durations.
