DevOps Engineer, French Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovenia.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and enhance robust CI/CD pipelines, emphasizing Jenkins, to automate the processes of building, testing, and deployment.

• Architect, provision, and oversee cloud infrastructure utilizing Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

• Manage and optimize cloud environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP to ensure high availability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

• Deploy and manage microservices leveraging Docker and Kubernetes.

• Implement and sustain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.

• Proactively identify and address performance issues.

• Collaborate closely with software development and QA teams to enhance the release cycle and promote a strong DevOps culture.

• Engage in technical discussions.

• Document systems meticulously.

• Work in collaboration with team members and stakeholders in both French and English.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or SysOps.

• Extensive hands-on experience in configuring, scaling, and maintaining Jenkins, including Jenkins pipelines, shared libraries, and plug-in management.

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken, is essential (B2 Level).

• Strong background with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Significant experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.

• High proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes, including EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-hosted solutions.

• Competence in at least one scripting language: Python, Bash, or Go.

• Advanced knowledge of Git and Git workflows, including GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.

• Familiarity with additional CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD is a plus.

• Relevant certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Jenkins Certified Engineer are advantageous.

• Knowledge in database administration, including SQL and NoSQL, is beneficial.

• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices within a cloud environment (DevSecOps) is a plus.
