DevOps Engineer, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and develop cloud infrastructure utilizing Microsoft Azure.

• Automate workflows and create Infrastructure as Code solutions.

• Enhance and maintain CI/CD processes along with DevOps methodologies.

• Evaluate cloud environments and suggest technical and cost-effective improvements.

• Optimize resource usage and expenses in accordance with FinOps principles.

• Work collaboratively with clients and project teams on cloud initiatives.

• Leverage AI-driven tools to automate tasks and boost engineering efficiency.

• Provide support for the development and maintenance of the client's Azure-based platform.

• Develop and refine cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure platform stability, monitoring, and observability.

• Collaborate within a diverse engineering team of over 50 professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in supporting and maintaining production environments.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and cloud-based solutions.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Jenkins, and Git.

• Strong proficiency in Linux environments.

• Capability to create and develop scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

• Experience in establishing and maintaining CI/CD processes.

• Knowledge in monitoring, observability, and log management practices.

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in distributed systems.

• Basic understanding of MySQL and Elasticsearch.

• A sense of independence, responsibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• English communication skills at a minimum B2 level.

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is preferred.

• Familiarity with Datadog, Grafana, or ELK Stack is preferred.

• Experience with Terraform or Ansible is preferred.

• Knowledge of RabbitMQ is preferred.

• Experience with Apache Spark environments is preferred.

• Familiarity with Groovy and creating Jenkins libraries is preferred.

• Experience with security tools such as Checkmarx is preferred.
