This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of production infrastructure through maintenance and improvement efforts.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure to proactively detect potential issues before they affect customers.
• Resolve incidents, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and develop long-term preventive measures.
• Automate operational tasks utilizing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripting techniques.
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, focusing on ECS Fargate and Kubernetes EKS clusters.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Enhance observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboarding solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to boost application reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Engage in incident response and participate in on-call rotations.
• Continuously optimize infrastructure costs, security, and operational efficiency.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineer.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, ALB/NLB, Route53, EKS, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Hands-on experience using Ansible for configuration management and automation tasks.
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters, preferably Amazon EKS, as well as ECS Fargate.
• Strong skills in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, and CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms including GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• A solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancers, routing, and firewalls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience troubleshooting complex production incidents and conducting root cause analysis (RCA).
• Proficiency in English at an Intermediate level or higher.
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault is advantageous.
• Knowledge of ArgoCD, FluxCD, or GitOps workflows is a plus.
• Familiarity with administering PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or Kafka is a plus.
• Understanding of SRE principles such as SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and incident management is a plus.
• Experience with security best practices and compliance standards, including ISO 27001 and CIS Benchmarks, is a plus.
• Experience in high-load, highly available production environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with GCP or Hetzner is beneficial.
• AWS or Kubernetes certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or CKAD are advantageous.
