This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop infrastructure and environments that support platforms and applications utilizing Terraform and associated technologies.
• Implement DevOps methodologies and technologies, including containerization, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, metrics, and monitoring practices.
• Streamline operational processes through automation.
• Oversee, monitor, maintain, and enhance infrastructure and live applications.
• Ensure cloud-account health concerning security, cost management, and adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with development, testing, and client services teams.
• Construct functional systems that enhance customer experience.
• Represent the team at various organizational levels and collaborate across technology and business domains.
• 3–5 years of experience in Linux/Unix administration within IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS frameworks.
• Proven experience in deploying, maintaining, and supporting enterprise applications on AWS, including Route53, ELB, VPC, EC2, S3, ECS, and SQS.
• Strong understanding of Terraform and similar infrastructure-as-code solutions.
• Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB/2, and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with automation/configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, or their equivalents.
• Experience in enterprise microservices implemented through code pipelines using containerization.
• Proficient in scripting with Bash and Python.
• Understanding of Java, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills at both business and technical levels.
• Experience working within a global team framework.
• Strong skills in collaboration and teamwork.
• Ability to take initiative and adapt to evolving situations.
