DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance our cloud infrastructure.

• Manage development, staging, and production environments.

• Create and refine CI/CD pipelines.

• Assist with deployment and release processes.

• Track uptime, performance, and security metrics.

• Establish backup and disaster recovery plans.

• Set up domains, SSL certificates, and networking configurations.

• Guide developers on infrastructure-related matters.

• Enhance scalability, reliability, and overall system performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Linux administration.

• Familiarity with Hetzner Cloud or equivalent cloud platforms.

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient in GitHub Actions.

• Experience with PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.

• Understanding of security best practices.

• Knowledge of DNS, SSL, and networking principles.

• Understanding of backup and disaster recovery strategies.

• Experience with Supabase (Nice to Have).

• Familiarity with Nginx or Traefik (Nice to Have).

• Knowledge of Terraform (Nice to Have).

• Experience with Kubernetes (Nice to Have).

• Background in mobile app infrastructure (Nice to Have).

• Experience in startup environments (Nice to Have).
