DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.

• Automate infrastructure management processes.

• Develop and maintain environment-specific Kubernetes configuration packages that adhere to STIG-aligned hardening and enforce RBAC.

• Implement strategies for secrets injection using FedRAMP-compliant tools like AWS Secrets Manager and Azure Key Vault.

• Integrate CI/CD pipelines to facilitate secure automated deployment and rollback of ArcGIS components.

• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters efficiently.

• Automate cloud infrastructure management.

• Establish secure, high-availability CI/CD pipelines.

• Engage with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.

• Utilize observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.

• Support mission-critical objectives as outlined in the referenced work order.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or at least five (5) years of professional experience in DevOps engineering.

• Proven experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.

• Proven experience in automating cloud infrastructure.

• Proven experience in implementing secure, high-availability CI/CD pipelines.

• Proven experience with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies, including Istio and Linkerd.

• Proven experience using observability tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.

• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and AWS CodePipeline.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.

• Expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments along with security best practices.

• Strong understanding of monitoring and logging solutions.

• Capability to implement STIG-aligned hardening and RBAC enforcement.

• Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance specified by the program.

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is preferred but not mandatory.

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional is preferred but not mandatory.

• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert is preferred but not mandatory.
