DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment and testing.

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Implement and maintain containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Create and maintain monitoring and logging systems to ensure high availability and performance of applications.

• Collaborate with development teams to enhance code quality and application performance.

• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Ensure alignment between project environments.

• Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve DevOps processes.

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

• Bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring smooth and efficient software delivery processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role.

• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python and Bash.

• Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.

• Experience with monitoring and auditing tools.

• Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
