DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments.

• Automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code.

• Enhance CI/CD processes to ensure consistent and reliable delivery of applications.

• Monitor system health, investigate incidents, and implement solutions to boost platform reliability.

• Establish and uphold practices for infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.

• Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and enhance operational efficiency.

• Provide support to engineering teams regarding infrastructure and deployment needs.

• Contribute to cloud architecture decisions, balancing factors such as reliability, scalability, security, and cost.

• Engage in incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.

• Maintain documentation regarding infrastructure, deployment procedures, and operational standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong practical experience with AWS and Azure.

• Proven track record in managing production environments and supporting mission-critical applications.

• Advanced proficiency with Terraform.

• Hands-on experience utilizing Bicep for Azure infrastructure.

• Deep understanding of cloud networking, identity and access management, security, and resource management.

• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms and pipeline management.

• Proficient in Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automation and scripting tasks.

• Experience with Git and infrastructure version control methodologies.

• Knowledge of containers and Docker.

• Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

• Understanding of high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and cloud cost management.

• Fluent in English.

• Possess an analytical and methodical approach to troubleshooting.

• Comfortable working in environments where reliability and availability are paramount.

• Capable of clear communication with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.

• Proactive in identifying risks and enhancing existing processes.

• Able to work independently and make sound technical decisions.

• Adaptable and collaborative, with the ability to engage effectively across various teams and client environments.
