This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Achieve sales targets for the ICU IV Infusion Device product line, including Plum 360, LifeCare PCA, and associated dedicated pump infusion sets, along with MedNet safety software and IV EMR connectivity.
• Exhibit mastery in presentation skills and possess comprehensive technical knowledge of the ICU product range, ensuring effective communication with Hospital Clinicians in alignment with guidelines (FDA, CDC, SHEA, INS, ONS, ASHP, etc.).
• Deliver executive-level presentations covering clinical concepts, current ICU products, and prospective product developments.
• Understand the competitive landscape, including the strengths and weaknesses of rival products, to effectively position ICU Medical’s offerings.
• Act as the clinical expert and consultative problem solver for clinical and supply chain contacts at the field level.
• Maintain a strong level of technical and commercial knowledge regarding relevant products, technologies, and services.
• Quickly establish credibility and demonstrate expertise with clinical and executive decision-makers.
• Familiarize yourself with the assigned territory, customer base, contracts, pumps, solutions, distribution models, etc.
• Conduct product trials and oversee the implementation of all ICU products.
• Engage with the market and clinicians through local AVA, INS, APIC, and ONS chapters.
• Forge strategic customer relationships throughout the hospital to promote the purchase of ICU’s infusion devices.
• Align sales efforts with Company and regional objectives through communication with management.
• Cultivate and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate contracts with hospital supply chain and administrative organizations.
• Comprehend market dynamics and healthcare trends.
• Participate in special projects as they arise.
• Be available to work during weekends/nights when necessary.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is mandatory.
• An MBA or MHA is considered a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of medical sales experience, specifically in selling capital equipment, medical devices, or software within a hospital environment.
• A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding quotas and developing existing relationships with Supply Chain.
• A proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets, along with a strong desire to cultivate new business.
• Experience in a collaborative team environment is essential.
• This position requires active and ongoing compliance with all credentialing requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination, to fulfill essential functions at customer locations.
• This position is based in the field.
• Work may be conducted from a home office using standard office equipment, as well as on-site at customer locations.
• Travel is typically required 50% of the time.
