Device Management Engineer – Cloud Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deploy, troubleshoot, and ensure the optimal functioning of Windows 10/11 devices in retail settings.

• Assist in the rollout of new solutions and resolve issues for devices that are failing to communicate, patch, deploy, or operate effectively.

• Diagnose Windows patch and application deployments utilizing Microsoft Intune.

• Acquire knowledge and provide support for Adaptiva Patch.

• Identify application and deployment failures by analyzing Windows Event Logs and Intune management logs.

• Utilize PowerShell for troubleshooting, automation, and remediation tasks.

• Enforce Intune policies for device configuration and enhance security measures.

• Aid in Intune provisioning, profiles, and application management processes.

• Address issues related to Windows OS deployment, patching, and updates.

• Provide overnight support during US hours and assist with early-morning business startup coverage.

• Collaborate with various support tiers and communicate technical issues to a diverse audience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in troubleshooting Windows 10 and Windows 11 patch and application deployments via Microsoft Intune.

• Ability to learn and support Adaptiva Patch effectively.

• Proficient in diagnosing application and deployment failures through Windows Event Logs and Intune management logs.

• Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting for troubleshooting, automation, and remediation.

• Experience in implementing Intune policies for device configuration and enhancing security measures.

• Familiarity with Intune provisioning, profiles, and application management.

• In-depth knowledge of Windows OS deployment, patching, and troubleshooting techniques for resolutions.

• Comfortable operating in a mission-critical environment where device downtime significantly affects restaurant operations.

• Willing to work a shifted schedule for US overnight and early-morning business startup coverage.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive; resourceful and capable of progressing independently amidst uncertainty.

• Proven teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across support tiers.
