This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +4 more states.
• Receive, unpack, install, and configure devices at customer locations.
• Install and commission DTE solutions along with engineering devices, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and adherence to schedules.
• Assist DTE Engineering during prototype deployments at customer sites and provide insights to enhance future designs, functionality, and reliability.
• Service, maintain, and repair installed solutions to guarantee dependable operation and maximize value for DTE customers.
• Implement the solution and provide training to customer operators on its usage.
• Offer feedback to Product and Engineering for ongoing improvements.
• B.Sc. in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in assembly, field service, or technical support roles related to electronic equipment.
• Electrician certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with device programming, control logic, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong analytical abilities and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Capability to work hands-on with prototypes, including testing, troubleshooting, and product enhancement.
• Strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and quality.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% within the United States.
• Excellent English communication skills; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
