Development Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Secure new donations and commitments while managing relationships with major benefactors.

• Develop and nurture connections with donors and solicit significant contributions and pledges.

• Arrange face-to-face meetings with potential donors and make direct funding requests.

• Enhance existing donor relationships by conveying the organization's impact.

• Travel frequently across the Southwest region to engage with prospects and donors.

• Educate, develop, and nurture prospects and donors through phone communication.

• Monitor activities within the customer relationship management (CRM) system.

• Collaborate with the Development team to meet fundraising objectives.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• Willingness to travel regularly; the role necessitates a minimum of 25% travel.

• Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours due to event and travel commitments.

• Capacity to remain seated for extended periods while engaging in close PC and keyboard work.

• Ability to lift an average of less than 10 lbs.

• Remote candidates must reside within the United States; preference will be given to those located in California, Texas, Colorado, or Arizona.

• Prior experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is required.
