Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for a team of full-stack developers primarily focused on C#, .NET Core, and Vue.js.

• Perform code reviews and set coding standards to ensure high quality, scalability, and security of the codebase.

• Work in close collaboration with Product Owners to clarify requirements, estimate workloads, and prioritize deliverables for each sprint.

• Manage and coordinate with third-party vendors and offshore teams to ensure cohesive execution and technical alignment.

• Define and implement development processes, which include branching strategies, CI/CD practices, and QA/testing methodologies.

• Supervise release management and guarantee seamless deployment across staging and production environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Collaborate with architecture and DevOps teams to focus on performance, scalability, and infrastructure optimization within GCP.

• Advocate for and facilitate the adoption of AI-assisted coding tools (like GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, or similar platforms) to enhance development efficiency and improve team productivity.

• Monitor project health through key performance indicators such as sprint velocity, defect rates, and on-time delivery metrics.

• Cultivate a culture centered on technical excellence, accountability, and ongoing learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Over 7 years of professional software development experience, including more than 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.

• Strong technical knowledge in C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, SQL Server, and contemporary JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js preferred).

• Experience in leading or contributing to enterprise-level SaaS or marketing platforms.

• Proficient in Git, DevOps, Jira, and agile development methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to manage vendors or offshore teams while balancing efficiency and quality.

• Exceptional communication skills with the capability to bridge discussions between business and technical teams.
