This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, implement, and enhance a thorough donor acknowledgment and stewardship program.
• Take ownership of and expand the monthly giving initiative in collaboration with the Digital Marketing team.
• Oversee the matching gift program, which includes verifying eligibility, optimizing the platform, and communicating with donors.
• Spearhead year-round stewardship interactions, impact reporting, and personalized recognition throughout the donor lifecycle.
• Draft grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and stewardship reports alongside the Director of Institutional Partnerships.
• Collaborate with program staff to collect data and impact metrics.
• Maintain a grants calendar to ensure timely and compliant submissions, acknowledgments, and reports.
• Monitor grant performance, reporting requirements, and documentation for active grants.
• Plan and implement fundraising events from the initial concept through to post-event follow-up.
• Manage event budgets, logistics, vendors, volunteers, and donor acknowledgments.
• Establish and oversee processes for tracking sponsor benefit fulfillment across events and campaigns.
• Work with the Marketing team on event materials, sponsor recognition, and promotional activities.
• Manage pledge accounts receivable, including outstanding pledges, reminders, and coordination with the Finance department.
• Act as the internal project manager for development initiatives, including timelines, follow-ups, and deliverables.
• At least 3 years of professional fundraising experience with proven success in donor stewardship, retention, and grant writing.
• Strong grasp of fundraising best practices and development operations within a nonprofit that has a significant revenue portfolio.
• Proficient in CRM systems, with a strong preference for experience with NetSuite.
• Documented success in grant writing for both private and corporate foundations.
• Proven track record in planning and executing fundraising events and managing sponsorship relationships from initiation to renewal.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create compelling, on-brand materials for donors.
• Highly organized self-starter capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Office 365.
• Quick to learn new software applications.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
