Development Consultant, Europe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Drive myAgro's strategy for obtaining annual and multi-year funding from European governments, multi-laterals, foundations, corporate donors, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).

• Discover and engage new European-based donors through research and outreach efforts to establish and grow a new portfolio of European donors.

• Nurture and maintain relationships with European funders through consistent engagement, including meetings, site visits, and strategic interactions.

• Collaborate with the CEO and Managing Director, US as needed for follow-up meetings and presentations with funders.

• Deliverables include: Funding Landscape Map, Portfolio Pipeline, Multi-Year Funding Proposals, Relationship Engagement Log.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or nonprofit development.

• Proven ability to create high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, and donor reports.

• Experience in building and managing a portfolio of institutional and/or individual funders.

• Proficiency in donor database management, preferably using Raiser's Edge.

• Experience collaborating with international donors, especially in the realm of global development or agriculture.

• Familiarity with or experience in West Africa is highly advantageous.
