Development Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Facilitate coach-led workshops, delivering expert training on various facets of development.

• Perform individualized coaching sessions to help members address their challenges within the development sector.

• Engage actively in community channels, responding to inquiries and providing expert advice related to development.

• Assist members in getting back on track when they encounter obstacles in product/service development.

• Direct members on selecting appropriate platforms for their projects.

• Aid in identifying potential challenges that may arise during their project planning.

• Collaborate closely with Success Managers and the leadership team to ensure coaching aligns with member requirements.

• Provide constructive feedback to enhance outreach resources and workshops, thereby boosting program efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in software development or automation engineering, preferably with a history of creating solutions in a professional environment (e.g., SaaS, client projects).

• Extensive knowledge of development skills: coding (e.g., Python, JavaScript), working with APIs, creating automations using tools like Zapier or Make, and troubleshooting technical issues.

• Background in coaching, mentoring, or training individuals in development or technical skills, ideally within an entrepreneurial or startup framework.

• Strong instructional abilities, capable of articulating technical concepts clearly and providing actionable insights for workshops and calls.

• Familiarity with development tools and platforms, such as GitHub, Postman, or no-code solutions, to effectively guide members.

• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, along with excellent communication skills to assist members at various skill levels.

• Understanding of project scoping and delivery to impart client-ready solutions.

• A genuine passion for aiding entrepreneurs in transforming ideas into functional, market-ready automations.

• Bonus: Familiarity with AI or automation sectors (e.g., AI APIs, basics of machine learning), although your development expertise is the primary focus.
