This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Compose and refine communications aimed at donors and development-related content.

• Develop versatile content templates for various cities and customize messaging to fit local contexts.

• Assist in creating fundraising-focused communication strategies to engage and retain donors.

• Produce engaging written content that reflects both local impact and a broader national perspective.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging while also working independently.

• Review and edit materials for accuracy, clarity, tone, and consistency with brand standards.

• Explore visual storytelling through basic graphic design and video production.

• Aid in the preparation, coordination, and administrative aspects of events.

• Oversee LIFT’s daily social media activity and maintain the content calendar.

• Write and edit monthly newsletters, blog entries, and annual reports.

• Perform copy editing on external documents.

• Monitor relevant news, research, and discussions in the field to identify content opportunities.


⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent writing and editing abilities.

• Capability to create clear, concise, and persuasive content for donors, partners, and social media audiences.

• Experience or interest in development and fundraising communications, donor engagement, and mission-driven storytelling.

• Proficiency with social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and Facebook.

• Experience in maintaining a content calendar.

• Ability to work independently in a flexible remote environment.

• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.

• Eagerness to learn and enhance skills in fundraising strategy, graphic design, and multimedia content creation such as video.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines, track tasks, and meet deadlines.
