Developer Relations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Create engaging technical content, particularly videos, to assist developers in learning Supabase.

• Develop and implement real-world applications using Supabase, Next.js, React, and Stripe.

• Compose guides and tutorials that developers can utilize and adapt.

• Present at meetups and livestream build events.

• Actively engage with the developer community as a prominent representative of Supabase.

• Recognize contributors, respond to inquiries, and showcase community projects.

• Relay developer feedback to the team.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and growth teams.

• Enhance launches, prioritize content, and ease the onboarding process for new users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient engineering skills, particularly with JavaScript or TypeScript, Postgres, and modern frontend frameworks like React, Svelte, or Vue.

• Experience in creating technical content, whether written or in video format.

• Comfortable publicly representing a product on camera, on stage, or online.

• Experience in full-stack application development.

• Passion for sharing technical knowledge.

• Ability to produce engaging content aimed at developers.

• Proficiency in writing video scripts and TypeScript.

• Experience in community engagement through platforms like Discord, Twitter, YouTube, or in-person events.

• Self-motivated and organized.

• Enthusiasm for contributing to open source projects.

• A growing audience on YouTube, Twitch, or Twitter is a plus.

• Previous experience in Developer Relations or open-source contributions is a plus.

• Familiarity with Supabase is a plus.
