Developer, Oracle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Design and develop PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and SQL statements using Oracle 19c.

• Execute performance tuning by enhancing SQL code and PL/SQL packages.

• Manage shared tools, including PL/SQL packages that aid in partitioning and purging.

• Conduct index-based optimization, focusing on statistics gathering and execution-plan refinement.

• Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager (Cloud Control) for monitoring and optimizing SQL statements.

• Enhance application architecture to avoid deadlocks in environments with high concurrency.

• Oversee and mitigate SQL plan degradation.

• Apply SQL profiles and SQL plan baselines to address critical production challenges.

• Offer mentorship and support to Oracle developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Over 5 years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL programming within Oracle 19c.

• Demonstrated expertise in Oracle performance tuning.

• Significant experience in supporting critical systems and delivering technical solutions.

• Familiarity with high-volume transactional databases.

• Proficient with development tools such as TOAD.

• Experienced with Oracle Enterprise Manager tools, including Cloud Control.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
