This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Actively engaging with several of our packages, particularly the Storyblok JS Client and the Storyblok CLI.
• Assessing and managing public issues, inquiries, and pull requests to ensure a superior developer experience across all projects.
• Coordinating efforts among various maintainers within our Product Division who contribute to our open-source initiatives.
• Participating actively in code reviews and ensuring that packages are thoroughly tested and automated, while pragmatically maintaining CI/CD practices.
• Upholding a consistent stack, structure, and process across projects, including the development of clear and comprehensive documentation.
• Establishing effective communication with our Engineering Department to ensure that any new API features are accessible from all of our SDKs.
• Cultivating the community surrounding our open-source packages, including active involvement in community discussions on GitHub.
• Promoting key updates related to our open-source packages company-wide (e.g., major releases, new features, new packages, etc.).
• Seeking opportunities to share knowledge about our packages and SDKs with other teams at Storyblok.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a JavaScript developer.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as an author and maintainer of open-source projects.
• Active participation in open-source communities.
• In-depth knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Practical understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Vue.js or React ecosystems along with their core principles.
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript languages and their modern syntax and features.
• Solid understanding of Node.js.
• Strong grasp of HTML and CSS.
• Excellent team player with the ability to self-organize.
• Proactive and self-motivated: we appreciate team members who can take an idea and run with it.
• Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders in both technical and non-technical terms.
• Confidence, attention to detail, and a high level of motivation to contribute to our organization's growth as part of a high-performing team.

• Demonstrates AI literacy, with the ability to utilize AI tools to enhance productivity, decision-making, and quality of work while applying sound judgment and critical thinking.
