This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Develop and deliver new features, enhancements, and bug fixes within the team's codebase.
• Take ownership of small to medium-sized projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• Engage in planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-launch support activities.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and actively contribute to testing strategies and methodologies.
• Clearly document work and provide context for review and assistance.
• Conduct thorough code reviews that enhance quality and uphold best practices.
• Collaborate with customer support and other stakeholders to investigate issues and prioritize user feedback.
• Contribute to authorization APIs, Unified Authorization, and related services.
• Collaborate with Identity Services, Authentication, and Trust Platforms.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools effectively throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Expertise in Go programming language.
• Strong working knowledge of the necessary tools and technologies to work independently.
• Experience in building or working with authorization or identity systems.
• In-depth understanding of access control and permissions.
• Ability to navigate an existing codebase and leverage established patterns.
• Capability to suggest improvements when necessary.
• Commitment to testing, maintainability, and clarity in both code and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, including timely updates on progress and early identification of blockers.
• Ability to collaborate constructively, seek feedback, and effectively incorporate it.
• Bonus: experience in supporting production systems and involvement in on-call or incident response rotations.
• Bonus: familiarity with enhancing developer workflows, including tools, CI/CD, testing, and documentation.
