Developer Analyst, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Become a part of the development team, taking on tasks for implementation during each Sprint.

• Engage in multifaceted software development activities with an emphasis on quality and maintainability, which encompass requirements, analysis and design, coding, configuration management, testing, and deployment.

• Take ownership of your tasks and promptly inform the team of any delays or obstacles.

• Create and sustain robust, scalable product features that are utilized daily by thousands of users across large enterprises.

• Collaborate with the technology team while adhering to agile methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or another related field in Information Technology; or a university degree in any discipline with a focus on Information Technology.

• Familiarity with financial systems development.

• Understanding of agile development methodologies, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban.

• Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps practices.

• Experience with Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, Nexus, and Azure DevOps Services (ADS).

• Proficiency in configuration and change management using ClearCase, SVN, and Git.

• Ability to analyze and specify functional, non-functional, and agile requirements.

• Knowledge of design patterns and programming best practices.

• Experience with enterprise systems integration.

• Skills in architecture and development of microservices, including tracing, APIs, fault tolerance, metrics, and health checks.

• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience in migrating monolithic systems to microservices.

• Strong understanding of relational data modeling, SQL, layered architecture, and MVC.

• Experience with systems integration using messaging, JMS, Web Services, WebSphere Message Broker, REST, SOA, and EJB 3.

• Ability to create responsive interfaces, PWAs, and focus on UX and usability.

• Experience with Java Swing.

• Familiarity with continuous integration, TDD, ATDD, specification by example, refactoring, and continuous delivery.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/ECMAScript 5 and 6+, Ajax, jQuery, AngularJS 1.5+, Angular 5+, Bootstrap 3+, HTML5, CSS3, ASP, and .NET.

• Skills in various testing methodologies including unit, integration, system/functional, acceptance, load, performance, vulnerability, usability, and accessibility testing; automation using JUnit 3+, Selenium WebDriver 2.4+, and JMeter 2+.

• Experience in building mocks/stubs for the simulation and virtualization of interfaces.

• Knowledge of Java Web technologies: JEE 5+, JSE 5+, MicroProfile 3+, Java 8+, Apache Velocity 1.6+, and Spring 3.x+.

• Experience with Java Web technologies: JEE 6+, JSE 5+, JSF 2.x, JPA 2, and Struts 1.x.

• Familiarity with application servers such as JBoss 4.2.3+, WebSphere 8+, Liberty 17+, and the Quarkus framework.

• Understanding of multi-tenancy application architecture.

• Proficiency in Linux and static analysis with SonarQube.

• Experience in refactoring web applications and migrating rules from the front-end to the back-end.

• Skills in reverse engineering.

• Knowledge of transaction management using CMT.

• Proficiency in IDEs such as Eclipse and Visual Studio Code; Ant and Apache Maven.

• Knowledge of MUMPS and Caché database 2010.2+.

• Familiarity with OpenVMS and/or Linux.

• Desirable knowledge of CICS, CICS/WEB, Broker, MQ Series, SOAP, and APIs.

• Skills in Delphi 5+, Enterprise PowerBuilder, and UNIX-like solutions.

• Experience with message routing utilizing the ISO 8583 (1987) standard.

• Proficiency in developing financial technologies such as J/XFS, CWA, FDI, and integration with banking peripherals.

• Experience with cryptography.

• Desired certifications include Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer, CSD, or PSD.
