Developer Advocate, Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Enhance customer productivity and the utilization of Helius products.

• Develop tutorials, demonstration applications, videos, and technical documentation for LaserStream, RPC, webhooks, and APIs.

• Compose code tutorials and in-depth technical articles on utilizing Solana data.

• Create demonstration applications, starter repositories, and examples for SDKs.

• Independently or collaboratively produce videos and tutorials with designers.

• Interact with Solana developers on platforms like Discord, Telegram, X, and GitHub.

• Address inquiries, assist developers in overcoming obstacles, and offer public technical support.

• Participate in hackathons and conferences to conduct workshops, evaluate projects, and support builders.

• Relay developer feedback to engineering and product teams.

• Inform the developer community about released fixes.

• Collaborate with ecosystem partners, including protocols, tooling teams, and educators.

• Monitor content outreach, demo adoption, developer engagement, and community expansion.

• Manage developer-facing communications for the data platform, encompassing customer outreach and Agave upgrade notifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of professional experience in a technology-driven company, preferably in developer tooling or infrastructure.

• Practical engineering experience and proficiency in coding.

• Exceptional technical writing skills and strong verbal communication.

• Capability to convey complex issues clearly to a diverse audience.

• Proficient in creating written tutorials, demonstration apps, SDKs, and videos.

• A portfolio showcasing tutorials, videos, repositories, presentations, or threads for evaluation.

• Community-focused with an established network and personal brand.

• Willingness to travel for hackathons and conferences.

• High level of initiative, ownership, and self-direction.

• Experience in building on Solana or substantial knowledge of its data model, accounts, transactions, RPC, and large-scale on-chain data (preferred).

• Previous experience in developer advocacy or technical content creation at an infrastructure or devtools organization (preferred).

• Existing audience within the Solana or wider crypto developer community (preferred).

• Familiarity with real-time data systems, streaming, WebSockets at scale, or gRPC (preferred).

• Contributions to Solana tooling in open source projects (preferred).
