Detection Engineer

📋 Description

• In the role of Security Detection & Response Engineer at ElevenLabs, you will be at the forefront of our security operations, playing a vital part in developing and maintaining our detection and incident response capabilities.

• You will possess an automation-oriented mindset, consistently seeking methods to enhance our security initiatives and minimize manual tasks, utilizing cutting-edge AI models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in incident response and security operations, including the ability to triage security alerts, conduct investigations, and lead response initiatives.

• Strong expertise in detection engineering, encompassing the development, tuning, and maintenance of security detection rules and alerts.

• Practical experience with SIEM Infrastructure, particularly with Google SecOps (Chronicle), including data onboarding, parsing, rule creation, and dashboarding.

• Proficient in security monitoring across multiple platforms, such as JAMF MDM for macOS endpoints, Google Workspace, Okta, and general SaaS applications.

• Experience in cloud security monitoring, specifically within Google Cloud (GCP), and familiarity with GCP Security Command Center (SCC).

• Strong scripting abilities (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating detection and response activities, data parsing, and integration of security tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of common attack techniques, threat intelligence, and the capability to convert them into actionable detections.

• Acquainted with security frameworks and best practices (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sharp attention to detail and the ability to link various pieces of information during investigations.
