This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Investigate and verify details of significant loss for intricate homeowners claims, usually exceeding $250,000.
• Assess coverage, evaluate damages, and negotiate claim settlements within designated authority.
• Manage complex or specialized first-party homeowners claims involving coverage, damages, and subrogation.
• Maintain and enhance expertise in residential construction and repair, structural integrity, home systems, and innovative building techniques.
• Recognize complex customer needs and address them using advanced customer service skills.
• Evaluate subrogation or fraud potential, recommend handling strategies, and propose process enhancements.
• Utilize a comprehensive understanding of company insurance policies, the industry, and organizational relationships.
• Guide and develop junior staff through estimate reviews, reinspections, ride-alongs, and various methods.
• Collaborate with fraud and subrogation representatives to secure the best outcomes.
• Manage and resolve escalated issues for premium customers promptly and professionally.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support the needs of premier customers.
• Proven Desk Property Lead Consultant Claims professional.
• Strong experience in managing high-volume, large loss complex homeowners claims, including those above $250K.
• Proficient in drafting and reviewing complex repair estimates.
• Experience with high-value property management.
• Capability to oversee claims from initiation to conclusion across dwelling, contents, ALE, mitigation, and supplements exposures.
• Preferred experience with insurance carriers alongside field exposure.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in partnering with independent adjusters and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Ability to navigate claims related to storms, water, and hail.
• Proven track record of exceptional customer service and escalation support.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Relevant active insurance licenses may include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License.
• As a condition of employment, active insurance license holders must terminate existing appointments and must not hold outside appointments during their employment.
• Applicants possessing a resident producer license must relinquish it when directed by the licensing team.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• A dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions with suitable desk and seating arrangements.
• Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
• A $1,000 Licensing Sign on Bonus may be available for applicable active licenses.
