This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Enhance discipline expertise and technical judgment through hands-on project experience, training, mentorship, and constructive feedback.
• Create and update Revit models, sheets, narratives, calculations, drawings, and documentation.
• Facilitate coordination by integrating redlines, addressing straightforward modeling challenges, and recognizing basic cross-discipline conflicts.
• Ensure model integrity, links, worksets, view templates, naming conventions, and organization comply with TEECOM's BIM standards.
• Engage in project, discipline, engineering, coordination, and daily meetings; share status updates, risks, and design inquiries.
• Conduct preliminary QA, basic clash detection, model assessments, and documentation reviews.
• Record design decisions, coordination updates, project modifications, standards clarifications, and client-specific requirements.
• Monitor tasks in Asana and keep precise records of time and expenses.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and cross-discipline teams to enhance the quality of deliverables.
• Assist with site visits, contractor submittal assessments, product research, specifications, diagrams, schedules, templates, and Navisworks/ACC workflows as required.
• Offer informal mentorship to Designer I team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the AEC industry.
• Proven expertise in Revit modeling, drafting, and construction documentation.
• Experience in coordination or fieldwork supporting construction or site operations.
• Proficient in maintaining Revit model structure, including links, worksets, view templates, and overall model organization.
• Familiarity with basic clash detection processes in Navisworks or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Capability to produce precise models and drawings with minimal revisions, adhere to established workflows, and efficiently implement feedback.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks across various projects.
• Developing knowledge of technology systems and fundamental engineering principles.
• Ability to perform introductory calculations, research, or product evaluations with supervision.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub.
• Authorization to work in the United States; TEECOM does not offer visa sponsorship.
• Industry certifications such as EIT, CDT, and introductory Revit/BIM/drafting certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
• Reasonable accommodations will be provided as necessary.
• Approximately 75% of work is conducted in a remote or office setting.
• Occasional travel to client locations for meetings, surveys, or inspections.
• TEECOM will assist in coordinating reasonable accommodations with site-controlling contractors or through alternative means to fulfill essential job functions.
