Design Technology Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Create, sustain, and enhance internal Revit templates and practices.

• Establish and uphold standards and templates, which include but are not limited to tags, annotation tools, legends, and more.

• Collaborate with the internal team to refine and promote internal Revit drawing standards and best practices.

• Organize and oversee BIM Collaborate Pro for design teams while providing training for new hires on its application.

• Coordinate the integration of consultant team models with internal models using BIM Collaborate Pro.

• Deliver basic Revit training to team members to ensure a foundational understanding of the software and offer day-to-day support and assistance.

• Provide ongoing Revit software training to teams concerning new releases and additional features.

• Assist with other firm-wide design software, including Revit, Twinmotion, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Enscape.

• Collaborate with IT Consultants and Design Staff to ensure that hardware remains current with the latest software and updates.

• Actively assist project teams during design phases, helping to fulfill design deliverables and serving as the key contact with technical experts from other partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or a closely related field.

• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the AEC industry.

• At least 6-8 years of experience using Autodesk Revit on architectural design projects, aiding in the execution of design deliverables.

• Minimum of 4 years managing Revit and BIM Collaborate (BIM 360) for internal firm-wide usage and best practices.

• WELL AP certification, NCIDQ certification, and other relevant industry experience as necessary.

• Expert-level knowledge of Revit and Twinmotion, along with a comprehensive understanding of their application as design and documentation tools.

• Advanced knowledge to assist teams with AutoCAD and Sketchup as supplementary drawing/modeling applications.

• Advanced knowledge to support teams utilizing Enscape as the primary in-house rendering software, functioning as a plug-in with Revit and Sketchup.

• Capability to work independently and effectively manage multiple challenges concurrently.

• Strong verbal and visual communication skills, along with organizational and collaborative abilities, enabling leadership in software usage.
