Design Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee multidisciplinary design teams that include Electrical, Mechanical, ICT, Structural, BIM/VDC, and Architectural experts on intricate data center projects.

• Direct all stages of project delivery, starting from proposal creation and project initiation to design finalization and construction support.

• Act as the main contact for clients and cultivate enduring relationships throughout the project duration.

• Create and oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, staffing strategies, and resource distribution.

• Track the financial health of projects, including fee usage, forecasts, invoicing, and change management processes.

• Organize project meetings, design evaluations, and coordination tasks among various disciplines and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure effective project execution.

• Recognize project risks and apply mitigation measures to uphold project goals.

• Confirm that deliverables meet internal QA/QC standards, client expectations, and industry best practices.

• Assist in business development efforts, including proposals, cost estimates, project planning, and client presentations.

• Guide project teams and encourage teamwork, accountability, and technical excellence across various disciplines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or another relevant technical field.

• At least 7 years of project management experience in engineering, architecture, or design consulting settings.

• Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams on mission-critical data center or other highly technical infrastructure projects.

• Documented success in managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and client relationships.

• Experience in delivering projects throughout all phases of design and construction support.

• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and mission-critical environments, including electrical distribution, critical power systems, mechanical cooling systems, HVAC infrastructure, ICT, and low-voltage systems, as well as BIM and multidisciplinary design coordination processes.

• Proficient in Revit, ACC / BIM 360, Revizto, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and other project management and collaboration tools.

• Authorized to work in the USA.
