Design Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead cross-functional design teams comprising Electrical, Mechanical, ICT, Structural, BIM/VDC, and Architectural experts on intricate data center initiatives.

• Oversee all stages of project delivery from proposal formulation and project initiation through to design finalization and construction assistance.

• Act as the main contact for clients, fostering robust, long-lasting relationships throughout the project duration.

• Develop and oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, staffing strategies, and resource allocations.

• Track project financial performance, including fee utilization, forecasts, invoicing, and change management.

• Organize project meetings, design evaluations, and coordination efforts among various disciplines and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure effective project implementation.

• Recognize project risks and apply mitigation strategies to uphold project goals.

• Ensure that deliverables meet internal QA/QC standards, client specifications, and industry best practices.

• Assist in business development efforts such as proposals, fee assessments, project planning, and client presentations.

• Guide project teams and encourage collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence across different disciplines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical field.

• At least 7-10 years of project management experience within engineering, architecture, or design consulting sectors.

• Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams on mission-critical data center or other highly technical infrastructure projects.

• Demonstrated success in handling project scope, timelines, budgets, and client relationships.

• Experience in delivering projects across all phases of design and construction support.

• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and mission-critical environments, including electrical distribution, critical power systems, mechanical cooling systems, HVAC infrastructure, ICT and low-voltage systems, as well as BIM and multidisciplinary design coordination processes.

• Proficiency with Revit, ACC / BIM 360, Revizto, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and other project management and collaboration tools.

• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in delivering hyperscale or enterprise data center projects.

• PMP certification.

• Experience in BIM and VDC environments.

• Ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously.
