• Take ownership of design initiatives that enhance acquisition and conversion across essential touchpoints;
• Create and refine impactful growth experiences, which encompass campaigns, client communications, landing pages, and onboarding processes;
• Harmonize compelling brand storytelling with conversion-focused design principles to optimize performance;
• Foster collaboration among marketing, product, engineering, and data teams, managing conflicting priorities, advocating for design excellence, and ensuring clarity in deliverables at all organizational levels;
• Articulate design strategies and justifications effectively to senior leadership and executive stakeholders, translating design choices into measurable business outcomes;
• Navigate uncertainties and conflicting priorities across teams, cultivating trust and consensus without direct authority;
• Utilize data, A/B testing, and insights to consistently enhance and perfect user journeys;
• Oversee, mentor, and motivate a team of designers, ensuring high standards of execution and professional development;
• Guarantee that insights, resources, and learnings are shared and utilized within your direct team;
• Champion user-centered design while balancing growth and performance objectives;
• Employ experimentation methodologies and frameworks to assess and validate design choices;
• Evaluate user behavior, conversion rates, and engagement metrics to guide continuous improvements;
• Remain informed about industry trends, tools, and best practices in growth and performance design;
• Over 7 years of design experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a growth, marketing, or performance design capacity;
• Strong leadership skills, with the capability to mentor, guide, and inspire a team;
• Proven success in delivering high-performing design solutions for both acquisition and retention;
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional collaborators and senior stakeholders, fostering alignment, addressing pushback, and conveying design decisions clearly and confidently;
• Experience in a dynamic, matrixed environment with multiple product and engineering teams, balancing diverse and sometimes conflicting priorities;
• In-depth knowledge of visual and product design, adept at harmonizing aesthetics with business impact;
• Experience in designing across various growth channels, including email, social media, paid advertising, websites, and onboarding flows;
• Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other pertinent design tools;
• Strong familiarity with A/B testing, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), and user analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Hotjar;
