Design Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily design schedules for Architects and Engineers of Record.

• Monitor design deliverables and ensure they align with the overall project timelines.

• Collaborate with Document Control to handle the receipt, storage, and distribution of design submissions.

• Assist in the submission processes for AHJ approvals and ensure that all required documentation is complete.

• Manage and uphold the company’s BIM standards and intellectual property.

• Supervise all current and archived BIM/Revit models.

• Create and maintain company Revit templates and standards.

• Promote communication among design, engineering, manufacturing, and project teams.

• Aid in the creation of graphics and visual materials for client presentations.

• Assist in the implementation of QA/QC standards for all design deliverables.

• Coordinate drawings, specifications, and submittals with project stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in: Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or Construction Management (Equivalent experience may be taken into account).

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in: Architecture, Construction, Manufacturing, or modular design.

• Required experience with commercial or institutional projects.

• Preferred experience in detention or secure facilities.

• Proficiency in: Revit (mandatory), Bluebeam, Microsoft 365.

• Preferred familiarity with: Procore, Newforma, project scheduling software, Lumion or rendering tools, Adobe InDesign.
