This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Deliver clear, precise, and user-friendly designs that comply with code requirements, manufacturing constraints, and project timelines.
• Oversee moderately complex projects, ensuring that designs align with structural code regulations, manufacturing guidelines, and client expectations.
• Create design packages, assess drawings, and compile material lists.
• Follow project timelines while effectively managing changing priorities and last-minute modifications.
• Engage in effective communication with cross-functional team members to identify, escalate, and address design issues.
• Collaborate with drafting, estimating, and manufacturing teams to ensure design practicality and efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience in metal building design or structural engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is highly recommended; actively pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with structural design and modeling software is preferred (e.g., RISA, STAAD, AutoCAD, or similar).
