Design Engineer – Gas

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in the complete lifecycle of natural gas distribution projects while collaborating closely with project engineers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Evaluate public improvement plans, create engineering designs, conduct engineering calculations, develop pipeline routes, and generate construction estimates.

• Collaborate with internal teams, municipalities, and external partners, providing field support and conducting site visits as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, petroleum engineering, or a related engineering field from an accredited institution.

• Willingness to travel for occasional project visits and possess a valid driver’s license without restrictions.

• Capability to work in a hybrid setting that includes site visits and in-person meetings in Indianapolis, IN.

• 0–2 years of experience in natural gas engineering.

• Background in transportation engineering or general utility engineering.
