Design Engineer – Brand & Web

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

📋 Description

• We are seeking a Design Engineer with a keen visual sense to lead our creative efforts across our web presence and branding, including sales presentations, conference displays, paid advertising campaigns, promotional materials, and merchandise.

• As the primary steward of the website and brand, you will have the opportunity to influence its development significantly.

• Oversee the design, development, and launch of Provet.com, managing the process from start to finish.

• Define content architecture and streamline the publishing process within the CMS.

• Design interactive pages, data visualizations, and tools that effectively clarify complex information.

• Create sales materials such as presentations, one-pagers, customer testimonials, and RFP templates.

• Develop physical branding experiences, including booths, banners, and presentations at veterinary conferences.

• Collaborate on paid social media and digital creative, working closely with Performance Marketing to optimize conversion rates.

• Ensure brand consistency across all buyer interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Next.js, with the ability to write CSS that manages intricate layouts, animations, and interactions with accuracy.

• Experience in launching production sites using a headless CMS and understanding the operational aspects of maintaining a large website.

• Capable of rapid prototyping and transitioning from concept to functional build without delays.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers and engineers, valuing work that is both technically robust and visually appealing.

• Experience in developing internal tools or workflows that enhance team efficiency and a passion for doing so.

• Bonus points for experience with AI-assisted development processes, proficiency in generative image and video tools (such as Midjourney, Sora, Veo, Flux, and Runway), generative or programmatic design, and localization systems.
