This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Create and develop a refined user interface for both the web application and marketing site.
β’ Partner with the engineering team to implement new features that emphasize excellent user experience and design quality.
β’ Take ownership of design choices from initial concepts to finalized production code.
β’ Develop and enhance the design system and component library.
β’ Enhance accessibility, responsiveness, and the overall polish of interactions across existing product interfaces.
β’ Rapidly prototype concepts using both code and static mockups.
β’ Foster improved design and user experience practices within the engineering team.
β’ Assist customers, review pull requests, and contribute to issue creation in the open-source community.
β’ Maintain up-to-date documentation.
β’ Contribute to product-led growth initiatives, including code samples, blog posts, videos, and social media content.
β’ A robust portfolio demonstrating design excellence and a proven track record of delivering production-ready user interfaces.
β’ Proficiency in modern frontend development, particularly with React and TypeScript.
β’ Familiarity with Remix.
β’ A keen eye for visual and interaction details, encompassing typography, spacing, and motion.
β’ Capability to work directly from a problem statement and independently drive design decisions.
β’ Remote applicants should be located within CET to ET time zones (GMT+1:00 to GMT-5:00).
β’ Experience managing design processes from start to finish in a small startup environment.
β’ Background in a developer tools company or a strong understanding of developers as end users.
β’ Experience in building or refining a design system or component library.
β’ Proven history of delivering quickly and iterating in a public space.
β’ Candidates based in the UK must be willing to join the team in London.
β’ Contributions to open source projects.
β’ Experience as a founder in a venture-backed startup.
β’ Active social media presence.
