This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead frontend development at Paires.

• Create production UI using Next.js and React.

• Work on the founder journey and investor portal.

• Engage in full-stack tasks when necessary for feature development.

• Collaborate with our designer on design decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Deliver production-level React and Next.js applications utilized by real users.

• Design and build your creations without needing a handoff: possess a strong aesthetic sense, have firm opinions on craftsmanship, and the technical skills to implement your designs.

• Maintain a portfolio showcasing live products rather than just mockups.

• Exhibit the ability to extend beyond frontend development when required: comfortable with backend tasks, capable of delivering features from start to finish.

• Have several years of experience delivering production work—this position is not suitable for beginners.

• Quickly adapt to AI tooling and critically assess the output.

• Bonus: experience with shadcn/ui, design systems, motion graphics, data-intensive dashboards, and AI product UIs such as streaming interfaces and human-review surfaces.
