Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within the AI growth team to deliver exceptional products tailored for developers and editors who prioritize quality, performance, and detail.

• Contribute to the development of a dynamic design culture alongside a team of highly skilled Product Designers.

• Work in partnership with Product and Engineering teams to create impactful AI products across Sanity’s core offerings.

• Design and implement growth experiments.

• Seek inspiration from the convergence of user experience, infrastructure, and organizational requirements.

• Develop and refine user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.

• Create and uphold guidelines, systems, and design patterns.

• Set industry standards for excellence in design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient frontend engineering skills (React, JavaScript).

• Understanding of developer requirements with the ability to comprehend Sanity’s essential products and customers (CLI, Sanity MCP Server, Content Lake, etc.).

• A keen eye for UI design and strong visual craftsmanship.

• Experience in contributing to or maintaining design systems, including the creation of components.
