Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Create and develop features for Ashby’s product, utilized by over 100,000 active users weekly.

• Tackle complex design challenges and collaborate closely with Product Engineers.

• Enhance and grow the in-house design system.

• Offer consultation on custom design projects as required.

• Construct adaptable, composable components within the design system to ensure consistency across the product.

• Interact with customers to collect feedback and swiftly iterate on design concepts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates for the Junior position should possess no more than 2 years of industry experience as a designer or engineer.

• For mid/senior levels, a minimum of 2 years of continuous experience as an Engineer or a Designer is required; internships are not included.

• Strong skills in both Design and Engineering, with exceptional expertise in your primary discipline.

• Experience in designing products and deploying code to hundreds of users, including through personal projects.

• At least basic knowledge of TypeScript, React, and CSS; familiarity with backend technologies is advantageous.

• Must be eligible to work in Portugal or one of the designated secondary locations.
