Design Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Creative Directors to formulate concepts, stimulate creative thinking, and create comprehensive design narratives.

• Create visual strategies encompassing typography, color, materiality, and spatial design for various formats including digital, print, experiential, and innovative mediums.

• Oversee designers, Art Directors, and specialists across diverse projects and accounts.

• Present design concepts to clients and senior stakeholders.

• Guide and mentor emerging designers while recognizing potential future leaders.

• Investigate new tools and contemporary design movements to drive design innovation.

• Work alongside Creative Directors, Strategists, Production, and technical teams throughout the duration of projects.

• Supervise budgets, timelines, production needs, and trade-offs while ensuring design excellence.

• A portfolio or work samples are essential for consideration.

• In-depth knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, materiality, and spatial design.

• Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing comprehensive design systems across various applications.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and the latest design tools.

• Strong strategic thinking, business insight, and presentation abilities.

• Capacity to cultivate strong partnerships, nurture talent, and translate a shared vision into outstanding work.
