Design Coordinator – Temporary, Seasonal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Analyze creative briefs, compile necessary assets, and establish organized project folders for the design team.

• Assess ongoing design files to confirm they align with the brief and meet specified requirements.

• Offer precise design guidance and feedback to designers; layout or production tasks are not included.

• Review text for accuracy, check version control, validate naming conventions, and ensure all essential elements are present.

• Enter projects into Airtable, update status indicators, and maintain accurate records.

• Inform the Client Services Manager when a deliverable is prepared for the subsequent steps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years in design coordination or creative operations is preferred.

• Capability to assess design files and deliver constructive, unbiased feedback.

• Familiarity with design terminology, file formats (AI, INDD, PDF), and fundamental print/digital specifications.

• Exceptional organizational abilities and proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Effective communicator, willing to prompt designers or Client Services Managers when items are missing or delayed.
