Design Compiler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement technical solutions along with compliance documentation for work packages to ensure adherence to all relevant customer, regulatory, and airworthiness standards, while operating within established program timelines and manufacturing constraints.

• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical challenges while applying and integrating appropriate solutions.

• Create, execute, and validate methods plans, toolsets, and strategies that are suitable and compliant for achieving design and program objectives.

• Review customer tasking documents and specify the corresponding technical solutions as part of bids and proposals for assigned programs or projects.

• Identify and evaluate technical risks, proposing relevant mitigations for the work package within assigned programs or projects.

• Produce design definitions for a work package, encompassing integration, interfaces, dimensions, materials, parts, manufacturing process requirements, assemblies, and tolerances that meet all design requirements and objectives.

• Assist in the creation and delivery of training materials and initiatives pertinent to the work package or program.

• Participate in and support technical and customer reviews, including formal gate reviews, as well as the development and preparation of technical documentation and presentations for the work package.

• Conduct all activities with minimal supervision while providing guidance to other engineers within the work package as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Engineering degree or apprenticeship at HNC level.

• Proficiency in CAD software: Catia V5 DPDS / Primes / PDM Link / PASS / VPM.

• Competency in MS Office applications.

• Familiarity with Airbus design methodologies and processes.

• Prior experience in Wing Primary Structure Design across various maturity phases.
