This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Facilitate coordination among Civil Infrastructure Engineering, design, and construction management teams across various construction packages.
• Oversee and monitor the reviews of RFIs, NCRs, QMDPs, Bridge Quality Assessment Reports, and Design Variance Requests.
• Act as the main point of contact at construction sites.
• Lead meetings for submittal reviews and engage in engineering, over-the-shoulder, draft DVR, and issue resolution discussions.
• Keep project documentation organized and archive records through a well-structured document control process.
• Evaluate engineering submittals, comments, and responses across Engineering, Final Design, Construction, and Project Development teams.
• Represent the Engineering team during engineering meetings and assist functional branches.
• Provide updates on project status and monitor activities for weekly and monthly reporting.
• Maintain tracker logs and establish a systematic document control system.
• Coordinate technical submittals and reviews among Engineering, Construction Services, and PCM Engineering personnel.
• Enhance communication between Engineering and PCM engineering teams.
• Convey Engineering processes and policies effectively.
• Support the development of bulletins, memoranda, policies, and procedures.
• BA/BS degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or a demonstrated equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
• A strong background in project and/or construction management.
• Experience within the construction and engineering sectors.
• Preferred experience in Design Build, Rail, Transit, and Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years of civil engineering experience is preferred.
• Capability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Degree in construction management, engineering, or a closely related field.
• Familiarity with design-build transportation projects, particularly structures.
• Ability to comprehend structural and/or civil engineering design and construction.
• Understanding of construction-related contracts and the design-build framework.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
