This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Develop and maintain modern, high-performance, and secure web applications.
• Create and consume REST and GraphQL APIs, ensuring scalability and adherence to best practices.
• Engage in fullstack development, from backend to frontend, with an emphasis on code quality.
• Support technical architecture decisions and system integrations.
• Conduct code reviews, automated testing, and continuous implementations (CI/CD).
• Contribute to practices of componentization, clean coding, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with the product and design teams to continuously enhance solutions.
• Serve as a technical reference, mentoring junior developers.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude, making technical decisions autonomously while promoting best practices.
• Stay updated on new software development trends.
• Utilize AI in the development cycle securely, efficiently, and in line with company standards.
• Collaborate with a higher education institution in the health sector, particularly in Medicine and Dentistry.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Software Development.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and PHP 8+.
• Knowledge in TypeScript and React with Next.js.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with microservices and serverless architectures.
• Experience with AWS and/or GCP.
• Knowledge of using AI for development acceleration, such as Codex and/or Claude.
• Experience with Jest/Vitest for unit testing and Playwright/Cypress for end-to-end testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, ESLint, Prettier, Husky, and Lint-Staged.
• Knowledge of Axios or Fetch API for REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Practical experience with JWT authentication, refresh tokens, rate limiting, Helmet, CSP, and input sanitization.
• Senior profile, proactive and autonomous, with direct communication and focus on deliverables.
• A mindset geared towards performance, security, and scalability.
• Preferred skills: Tailwind CSS; reusable componentization; custom hooks/composables; Server Components (Next 14+); experience in educational institutions; headless CMS, such as WordPress or similar.
