This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead technical initiatives of medium to high complexity, engaging from the solution definition through to its delivery and operational deployment;

• Design systems with a focus on scalability, availability, security, observability, and operational cost, continually assessing the trade-offs of each technical decision;

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA, SREs, and other engineers to transform business challenges into simple, efficient, and sustainable solutions;

• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the platform architecture by identifying improvement opportunities and mitigating technical risks before they escalate into business issues;

• Engage in the investigation and resolution of incidents, leveraging metrics, logs, and observability to pinpoint root causes and suggest permanent enhancements;

• Share knowledge through code reviews, mentorship, and technical discussions, helping to continually elevate the engineering standards of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Backend development using technologies such as Go, Java, or other equivalent modern languages;

• Solid understanding of software architecture, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, and inter-service communication;

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, comprehending their various usage models and respective trade-offs;

• Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven platforms, utilizing technologies such as Kafka, RocketMQ, or similar solutions;

• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications in production;

• Acquainted with cloud environments, containers, modern CI/CD practices, and deployment automation;

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a multicultural environment, using English for technical interactions with global teams.
