This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.
• Design and negotiate enterprise-level agreements that facilitate the expansion of Fuze Services.
• Assess a diverse array of products and programs to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards, particularly FDA and HIPAA.
• Serve as the internal regulatory authority for Fuze Services, ensuring that growth initiatives are compliant and defensible under applicable federal and state laws.
• Provide guidance on matters pertaining to US-based testing.
• Regularly assess and mitigate risks associated with the federal Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS) and its state counterparts.
• Develop and maintain a review system for marketing and communications content across all of Fuze Health, encompassing claims substantiation and the use of intellectual property.
• Supervise attorneys and other legal professionals who support Fuze Services and Legal Operations.
• Manage critical operational agreements throughout Fuze Services.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and an active license in good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 12–14 years of legal expertise in healthcare, with a preference for experience in both law firms and in-house settings.
• Extensive subject matter knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record of serving as a lead negotiator for complex, revenue-affecting enterprise agreements within the healthcare sector.
• Familiarity with payor/PBM contracting, the corporate practice of medicine, reimbursement economics, and healthcare fraud-and-abuse regulations (AKS, FCA).
• Established management abilities, with a background in leading attorneys, collaborating with cross-functional executive teams, and steering enterprise-level legal strategies.
• Outstanding communication skills and judgment, with the capability to provide rapid analysis on enterprise agreements and evaluate strategic risks beyond standard contract matters.
