This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist with on-site commissioning and integration of systems, which encompasses hardware verification, network configuration, software setup, and safety inspections.
• Perform acceptance testing, document findings, and aid in addressing readiness gaps prior to go-live.
• Address real-time challenges during deployment and go-live phases through hands-on troubleshooting, log analysis, triage, and escalation to engineering as necessary.
• Execute preventative maintenance audits, conduct minor repairs, perform retrofits, and manage recalls on deployed AMRs.
• Provide training to customer personnel regarding system operations, maintenance, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Technical Support, Field Services, and Systems Engineering colleagues to address customer issues and relay field feedback.
• Oversee AMR fleet status, assist in tracking repairs, and support updates to documentation.
• Engage with customer teams to ensure transparency in deployment status and issue resolution.
• Offer after-hours or on-call support as needed throughout the project.
• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is essential.
• Willingness to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada (50-60% of the time).
• A valid, unrestricted driver's license is required.
• An Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, Computer Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in technical field service, industrial automation, IT/OT support, robotics, or a related discipline is desirable.
• Proficient in hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of Linux (Ubuntu) is preferred.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, and general connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience in AMR/AGV systems integration is advantageous.
• Previous experience in training users on automated equipment or software is preferred.
