Deployment Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage extensive project portfolios that necessitate a deep understanding and implementation of project management best practices and construction management, ensuring all initiatives align with the Program Office and organizational objectives, while maintaining compliance, quality standards, and timely completion.

• Facilitate problem-solving discussions with large, diverse stakeholder groups involved in managing Information Technology Infrastructure and/or Physical Infrastructure projects, employing comprehensive life cycle and project management methodologies throughout project execution.

• Monitor and report on capital project scope, schedules, and cost parameters to ensure effective project controls are in place.

• Identify, track, mitigate, and communicate risks and issues to facilitate successful project delivery.

• Evaluate program success, outcomes, and performance improvement initiatives.

• Assist in managing projects and programs to boost productivity and performance.

• Develop and contribute to program reports, briefings, and documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate with VHA leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure program goals are aligned with the healthcare needs of Veterans.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Construction Management, Facility Architecture, Business Administration/Management, or a related field.

• At least 8 years of experience, which includes a background in engineering and construction project/program management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for report production and stakeholder engagement.

• Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
