Dental Billing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• The Dental Billing Specialist will join the Dental Insurance Billing/Collections Team, responsible for services such as billing, collections, and payment posting for Dental clinics and service providers across the United States.

• Generate precise claims to ensure rapid and optimal reimbursement.

• Monitor the status of insurance claims; appeal and rectify rejected or denied claims.

• Collaborate with dental clinics to collect necessary information for claims.

• Recognize patterns in denials or rejections and develop corrective policies to prevent future occurrences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Open to all candidates, regardless of experience; however, those with 1-2 years of Medical Billing experience will have a stronger chance of selection.

• Familiarity with various insurance policy types, including PPO, HMO, and MediCal is preferred but not mandatory.

• Ability to navigate Healthcare Practice Management systems is preferred but not essential.

• Understanding of dental anatomy and general dentistry procedures is preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and effective time management skills are necessary.

• Proficient data entry skills (40 WPM or higher).

• Capability to handle and maintain confidential information.

• Willingness to work flexible schedules, primarily during the night shift.

• Ability to work from home with a reliable internet connection and a backup option.
