This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Manage all billing procedures and insurance authorizations.
• Initiate new authorization requests and monitor expiring authorizations.
• Generate monthly billing and authorization reports to keep all records current.
• Engage in daily communication with insurance payors concerning authorizations, claims, and billing inquiries.
• Follow up on submitted claims to guarantee prompt processing and payment resolutions.
• Keep precise records and documentation pertaining to billing and insurance activities.
• Aid in addressing claim discrepancies, denials, and billing challenges.
• Ensure all billing tasks are executed accurately and within the necessary timelines.
• Prior experience in billing coordination, medical billing, or insurance authorizations is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Capability to work independently and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with insurance payors and claims processes is a plus.
• Comfortable working U.S. hours
